This review is long overdue. We were looking for a horse that would take my daughter further than just a trail riding horse. Something that had some potential for playdays as it seemed that’s the direction my daughter wanted to go. I called Skyline Stables on a reference from a friend who had purchased a horse that they were super happy with from them. We made an appointment and went over and looked at a few. Everything was wonderful, but not quite what we were looking for. Presley suggested we try a little horse that she had been riding named Duke. We tried him and thought that maybe he was just a little too much for my daughter. Don reassured us that with a little more riding and some bonding with my daughter he would be perfect. Needless to say, we were nervous and skeptical. Don made us a deal, if within 30 days, Duke did not suit my daughter, we could return him for a full refund. Well, I’m here to tell you that we would not sell Duke for any money. He turned out to be exactly what Presley and Don said he would be. Now we are just waiting for some warm weather and off to the fairgrounds we go. It has been the best experience we have had in purchasing a horse. Don and Presley are so honest, and no their livestock. So when you’re there, and you’re looking at a horse, and they tell you something about it, “Believe”

Don sold me two bomb proof horses twenty years ago….the man is simply the best in the game…so much so that I will make the trip from PA when my needs arrive…. My kids still talk about the summer shows that they participated in!

I had been searching everywhere for a family horse for my grandchildren to enjoy. A close friend highly recommended Skyline Stables to me, so I got in contact with Don and Presley. I told them what I was searching for, and they told me to give them some time. I ended up getting some pictures and videos of a sorrel gelding named Vento that they asked me to come meet. Vento, now known as Sunny, ended up being the perfect match for the family, especially the grands! He is the sweetest, safest, most reliable horse I have ever met. I’m so grateful for the help I received in finding THE one! I’m sure we will end up adding another member to the family to join Sunny shortly, and we won’t look anywhere other than Skyline. Don and the girls were awesome. They were so patient and kind to my family. Such a good experience for my daughters with getting their first horse. Hollywood is the prefect horse for my girls to learn and gain confidence. I will be buying more horses from Skyline stables in the future and am forever grateful for them.

After the loss of my mare I was in search of a new lesson horse. We found Skyline and ended up being called before the horses ad even got put up to come try him out! Cisco, now fondly known as Jasper, was the perfect match. He’s been such a dream and has settled in so nicely to our ranch. Skyline was absolutely amazing and his test ride went perfect. We were treated like family before we even stepped on the property and even know with horse in hand we still are! Could not recommend them more and thank yall once again for this amazing horse!

Our family purchased our first horse from Skyline Stables last summer after finding them on YouTube. We always wanted a Buckskin and Skyline had one named Ace. We went there, rode him and loved him. We purchased him on the spot. We called Don after New Years and told him my husband was looking for a paint and wondered if he had one. Don said he had one that wasn’t quite ready and asked if we could hang tight for another week or two. We said we would. We got to see this horse two weeks later and again rode him, loved him and bought him. We named (my husband) named him Tonka and he is another amazing horse in our pasture.

But most importantly, now my husband and I share horseback riding together.

Great folks! My husband and I had been hunting for a gelding for me for quite some time. When we first called Don we let him know what we were looking for and what price point we were at. I had been following Skyline online for about 7-8 months and watching all the neat things they do with their horses to prepare them for their forever homes. Don made a few suggestions of potential horses and put us down to come by and see them a few weeks out. His business approach and morals are top-notch! Pongo ended up catching our eye before we ever made it out to the ranch so we scheduled an earlier appointment than originally anticipated. When I tell you this gelding is DREAMY, it is not an exaggeration. He was exactly as Don described him over the phone. Well mannered, loves to ride, kind and let’s not forget gorgeous! Our experience when we got to the ranch was wonderful. My husband took Pongo out on the trail and he did great! Me, being a beginner rider, ponied our prospect in the round pen and I instantly fell in love. Since having our boy home he has been everything described and more. He’s gentle, sure-footed and loves his person. We’ve definitely connected and are enjoying each other. If you are looking for an open and honest horse seller, Skyline Stables and Don should be your first choice! We will definitely do business with him and his crew again. They exceeded our expectations, took care of us like we were their most important client and sent us on our merry way with a wonderful new horse.
